PATRICK J. TRYSLA

For over 34 years, Mr. Trysla has been advising private and public clients in Merger & Acquisition and Corporate Finance transactions. Prior to forming Frontier Investment Banking, Mr. Trysla served as a Principal of a regional investment banking firm, where he led the Manufacturing, Distribution and Business Services practice group, providing mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and financial advisory services. He has initiated and consummated mergers, acquisitions, sales, divestitures, recapitalizations and financings across a broad range of industries.

Prior to becoming an investment banker, Mr. Trysla practiced corporate law, specializing in mergers, acquisitions and sale/divestitures of businesses and in corporate finance with the law firms of a longtime established regional firm, an international law firm and one of the 25 largest firms in the world, and a national law firm and one of the 100 largest where he chaired the Corporate Practice group of the Kansas City office and served on that firm’s Management Committee.

Mr. Trysla holds a Juris Doctorate Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, both with highest distinction, from the University of Nebraska.

KELLY SCHOEN

Mr. Schoen has over 30 years of experience in providing mergers & acquisitions services, as well as financial consultation and business advisory services, to a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Frontier, Kelly was the founding CEO of Strategic Solutions, a consulting firm focusing on mergers & acquisitions, corporate transactions, strategic planning, financial advisory services. He has served clients in a broad range of industries including financial services, manufacturing, real estate development, transportation, and distribution. Mr. Schoen was an organizing founder of Freedom Bank which opened in 2006, and provides industry leading community banking services in the Kansas City metro area. He currently serves as a board member, and sits on several committees including the Executive Loan Committee.

Kelly also has significant business operations and management experience as the former CEO and owner of a regional marketing services firm. Mr. Schoen led a leveraged buyout of select business assets assembled from several entities in order to launch a new business model utilizing technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of select marketing processes. The company was recognized by the leading industry association as one of North America’s Best Managed Graphics Companies in 2005 and 2006. He sold the company to a strategic acquirer in 2007 utilizing the services of Frontier Investment Bank. Following the transaction he stayed on for an extended period, focusing on strategic acquisitions and process integration.

Prior to that Mr. Schoen was employed by KPMG where he received his CPA certification, and gained significant experience in the areas of corporate transactions, business advisory services, audit, and corporate tax. Kelly launched his financial career with a large regional financial institution where he focused on commercial financing and credit. He is a graduate of Kansas State University (B.S. in Finance) and Creighton University (M.B.A.).

TOM DOLEMBO

From his formal education at Harvard College and Harvard Business School and his over three decades of experience as the founder and operator of two manufacturing companies and a strategic and financial advisory firm, Tom developed an expertise in optimizing business strategy, marketing and operations. Tom’s turnaround experience was developed and refined working with both national and international companies in a variety of industries at KPMG, as well as for, and as an advisor to, some of the more sophisticated institutional investors, including Kohlberg & Company (a spin off from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR)), Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner (GTCR, now Thoma Cressey Bravo), Gryphon Investors, Mass Mutual, BancBoston Ventures and C3 Capital Partners. For over a decade, Tom has supplemented his considerable experience with ongoing advisory engagement with numerous clients, including Harvard University and University of Chicago.

FRITZ EDMUNDS

Through two decades of experience advising clients on strategic transactions, settling legal disputes, and other related business matters, as well as undertaking additional study and seminars, Mr. Edmunds is an expert negotiator and communicator. Prior to joining the Firm and focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions, Mr. Edmunds focused on business litigation and mediating business matters in his law practice, honing his critical assessment and client skills. Mr. Edmunds’ negotiation and professional writing talents, combined with his vast array of contacts, make him a natural deal-maker.

Mr. Edmunds has served as a Presidential appointee to the U.S. Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board in Washington, D.C. He has also served as a Police Commissioner on the Civil Service Commission in Overland Park, Kansas, as well as an officer in myriad professional, political, and philanthropic organizations.

Mr. Edmunds holds a Juris Doctorate Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism Degree both from the University of Kansas, where Mr. Edmunds served as his Law School Class President while also commuting back and forth to serve in Washington and completing the three-year Legal program at KU in two years.

JOHN MCGANNON

Mr. McGannon has completed public offering, private placement and acquisition transactions in a variety of industries in his over-20 years as an investment banker and six years as an entrepreneur. Prior to joining Frontier Investment Banking, Mr. McGannon served as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance with Oppenheimer & Co., an investment banking firm based in New York. He had previously served as Vice President, Corporate Finance for B.C. Christopher & Co. (later acquired by Oppenheimer & Co.) from 1987 to 1991. In 1991 he founded HomeBase, Inc., an information database company based in Chicago which he later successfully sold.

Mr. McGannon received a business degree from Georgetown University and JD and MBA degrees from the University of Kansas where he was a Rice Scholar and served on the Law Review as Associate Editor.

DAVID WERP

For over 40 years, Mr. Werp has worked as a senior lender with various banks, and facilitated lending services for mergers & acquisitions, as well as raising working capital, obtaining fixed asset financing, venture capital, and real estate financing. As a senior and junior lending expert, Mr. Werp has experience in financial structuring, underwriting, presentations to senior lending committees, credit analysis, and financial modeling.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Werp’s career included years of experience with financial institutions including Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of New England, Mercantile Bank, St. Louis Bank and Gold Bank.

Mr. Werp holds a BS Degree from the University of Kansas, in Business Administration.
